About us

RT Software’s BAFTA award winning founders spent many years working for the Computer Graphics department at the BBC, developing sophisticated real-time 3d applications that enabled the visual communication of complex information structures such as general election data feeds – including Peter Snow’s infamous “Swingometers” – and virtual graphics for flagship broadcast news programmes.

Founded in 2004 out of a co-development project with BBC News, RT Software was established to develop, support and sell its core software product “tOG-3d”. Now, with dozens of blue-chip clients worldwide and high-end technology partnerships, RT Software has built up a suite of some of the most powerful real-time 3d applications on the market today.

RT Software engages a global network of Value Added Resellers, and through their expertise in technology and solutions provision, provides a first-class local service to our international clients.

Our broadcast solutions ranging from tOG Lite for simple operator driven or automated overlay graphics, to tOG Sports Pro, sports enhancements and tracking tools, RT Software provides flexible options for SD, HD, video i/o and graphics capabilities to suit all requirements.

We have a real commitment to the industry, with an Academia Programme that allows universities and other learning establishments to have access to all our products – full details are available in the brochure below.

At RT Software, we pride ourselves on our customer support, and through our support departments from Field Services to rt creative, we are committed in providing a level of support to our customers that enables us to deliver the most demanding and innovative broadcast graphics projects.
