NAB Highlights 2025 – Incredible line up of product releases and new partnerships

RT Software announces new product releases and new partnerships at NAB 2025.

London, March 2025. RT Software has announced an astounding collection of new graphics product releases and technology partnerships which will be shared with visitors to NAB, in Las Vegas in April. Visitors will be able to find live demos of all the latest developments on stand SL5506.

Tactic 8.3 – Preview of Next Release

Version 8.3 of leading sports telestrator Tactic will be previewing several significant new features.

AI Auto Keying. Building on the substantial AI enhancements already in the product, AI Auto Keying automatically adjusts to changing light conditions on the field, avoiding the need for operators to manually adjust keying levels.

ST2110 video. Support for uncompressed IP video, already supported by RT Software’s Swift range, is now also available for Tactic.

Octopus Newsroom Integration

The Swift News HTML journalist interface is now supported in Octopus 12.

This allows newsrooms to empower journalists to drive on air graphics using predefined templates. Key benefits include:

  • Full animated previews of text and graphics in their existing Octopus interface.
  • Unified user interface with the gallery operator’s Swift Live browser interface for easier operations.
  • Future facing platform that can be responsive to new customer requirements.

Visitors to the RT Software stand will be able to try Swift’s interface to see for themselves how intuitive it is for users.

Adobe After Effects Import for Swift CG

Creative departments can now benefit from a tighter integration of their core design tools. Users can prepare animations in AE, and import the different layers into Swift CG as nodes for further manipulation prior to broadcast.

The process supports mark ups, so an object in AE can be tagged ‘clock’ for example, and this will automatically generate a Swift real-time clock when imported into the graphics editor, further accelerating the creative workflow.

Swift Panels

Building on the success of Swift Live, RT Software’s browser based interface for controlling graphics, NAB will be the first showing for the brand new Swift Panels.

Swift Panels, augments the existing functionality by providing users with a design tool to easily create new button panels. This opens up a world of flexibility and empowers users to design layouts that match their specific operational workflows.

Swift Panels, Swift Live and many other products are part of the next generation graphics platform called Swift NxT.

Swift NxT

RT Software’s fully browser-based system integrates everything needed for a comprehensive broadcast graphics solution. From graphics editing and playout control to essential workflow management, all functions are contained within RT Software’s tab-based platform, Swift NxT.

As broadcast businesses increasingly shift to IT-centric infrastructures, offering graphics operations via a scalable, cost-effective browser interface has become a key part of RT Software’s strategy. When paired with a containerized/Kubernetes render engine deployed in the cloud, this creates a powerful and robust, future-ready platform.

Linux Support

RT Software can support customers looking for a graphics solution suited to cloud and media framework deployment with its container / Kubernetes solution. Do you need to deploy a world class graphics render engine into modern media framework? Ask us about Swift Engine and which of our technology partners will be demonstrating it at NAB.

Bluefish444 Video Card Support

RT Software further extends its support for leading industry video cards by offering Bluefish444 video card support for its Tactic and Swift ranges.

Bluefish444 has a history of providing innovative hardware solutions to the broadcast industry and RT Software is delighted to be able to offer their SDI cards to its customers.

Mike Fredriksen, RT Software Commercial Director, said this about the line up, “This year we have surpassed even our own normal high standards for delivering new solutions. We cannot wait to talk and show to visitors all the latest developments”.

Visitors will find the RT Software range at stand SL5506.
