RT Software at IBC 2026

Hall 7, Stand 7.A09a — RAI Amsterdam, 11-14 September 2026
We’ll be showing our full range of broadcast graphics on stand 7.A09a in Hall 7, and supporting our European OEM partners:
- Grass Valley (9.A01), showing our AMPP Store graphics, including the integration with PlayoutX.
- Pebble (8.C15), showing our 2D and 3D graphics tightly integrated in Dolphin CiaB.
Broadcast technology is changing, and graphics have to change with it
What’s driving it:
- Rising hardware costs and supply chain constraints.
- The emerging media fabrics, and how to make use of them.
- Cloud, and how to deploy on it cost-effectively.
- New media channels that need new approaches.
- On-prem, off-prem and hybrid, all needing a single approach.
What we’ve done about it:
The product set is fully containerised, so it deploys and scales faster, and it’s fully web-app based. Rendering is open across Vulkan, Unreal and HTML, management is centralised, and hardware costs come down by more than half.
Come and see the Swift NxT web apps running and we’ll walk you through the engineering behind them.
What’s on the RT Software booth
The full range of broadcast graphics
Our solutions cover sports, news, entertainment, faith and channel branding: on-screen graphics, virtual studios and AR, sports analysis, newsroom automation, video walls. All of it demonstrable on the stand.
Tactic Pro and Tactic Pro AI

Launched at NAB 2026 and now shipping, Tactic Pro and Tactic Pro AI cement our position as the number one supplier of sports analysis solutions. IBC is the first chance for many of our European customers to see them running live.
Tactic Pro AI. AI works best when it has frames of reference. Pro AI supports all the major pitch-based sports, and our in-house AI removes the setup normally needed to get good analysis graphics. Workflows get much faster. If you cover these sports, book a demo.
Tactic Pro. The same easy-to-use interface at an entry-level price, with the same graphics and an AI keyer included. Its more manual mode of operation suits non-pitch-based sports, or tighter budgets.
Virtual studios and AR

If you’re adding or upgrading virtual studios, or bringing AR graphics into live production, come and talk to us. You can use our own engine, optimised for data-rich graphics, or Unreal, or both. Either way, our Swift Live control surface gives you one point of control for all graphics, whatever the engine.
Swift NxT: integrated web-based graphics workflows

Swift-Edit, our web app for graphics creation, completes RT’s move from monolithic apps to web apps, and at IBC 2026 it’s here. Paired with our containerised cloud render engines and back-end servers, it puts graphics editing, playout control and workflow management in the browser.
Swift Engine

Swift Engine now renders our native graphics alongside Unreal and HTML content, all from a low-footprint, containerised, OS-independent deployment. We’ll be running eight HD channels from a single HPE ProLiant DL360 to show the densities we can reach. Licensing is modular and scales from HD through UHD, HDR and custom video wall resolutions. Because we’re OS agnostic, it runs on Linux, which makes it far cheaper in the cloud.
Newsroom graphics
We’ll be demonstrating graphics with the leading newsroom systems, including iNEWS and Octopus, and our web-app work extends into the newsroom. Journalists can add graphics to their stories through a web interface with a fully animated preview, and the graphics go to air through a news-focused version of Swift Live, our web-based operator interface.
Tactic Draw will be on show for interactive news and election coverage. It works on live feeds, clips, web pages, documents, pretty much anything. Presenters can add annotations and graphics live on air, or run through prepared material. It’s easy to use, and at £3,250 per year every news studio can afford one.
Beyond our booth: the latest from our key European OEMs
RTSW graphics on Grass Valley AMPP, Hall 9, stand 9.A01
We’ll be demonstrating on the GV stand. Grass Valley has supplied our graphics to its playout, editing and news customers for many years, and our products are now available in the AMPP Store, with announcements coming about major European users.
For ICE and Rio users looking ahead, existing Swift editors and graphics projects all transfer to AMPP PlayoutX and Framelight with ease. And if you’re exploring AMPP for live production, you now have an option for high-quality, feature-rich, frame-accurate graphics.
RTSW graphics on Pebble Dolphin CiaB, Hall 8, stand 8.C15
Swift graphics will be part of the Pebble playout demos on the Pebble booth. Frame-accurate 2D and 3D graphics render on Dolphin CiaB playout heads under Marina automation. Pebble can also tell you about their worldwide deployments of our graphics with major clients.
Catch up with us and see it all at IBC
“We’re very much looking forward to meeting everyone in Amsterdam. NAB was the launch of our cloud products; IBC is where you can see it all working together. The highlight for me is the chance to explain what we’ve done in the background to make our products the most logical choice for where broadcast technology is heading. We believe what we have now is unique, and we can’t wait to share it.” – Mike Fredriksen, Commercial Director
