Tactic 8.0 Release Summary
Release summary (major new features).

Unit 6, Hurlingham Business Park, Sullivan Road, London SW6 3DU.
Team ID (Tactic Pro).
Team ID uses a machine learning model to further enhance Player Detect functionality. When used, Tactic Pro not only detects players and their movement, but also which team they belong to.

Team ID has identified each team, player box colour is determined by palette home and away colour. Non outfield players (officials, staff, goalkeepers) are assigned a neutral colour.
From the Team ID page, users can choose the current formation for each of the teams playing, and which portion of the team they want to attach graphics to. Once this is done, just clicking on the user defined graphic style will attach the graphic to all players required and as the graphics are attached to the players, the graphics will follow as the video is played.
Adding tactical explanation graphics becomes even easier with a faster turnaround with Team ID as graphics can be placed to cover the whole team, or parts of the team, with one click.

In addition, the “Team Dimensions” function will place a graphic equal to the total length or width of a chosen team between the furthest forward/backward or right/left players. If the distance graphic is chosen, the distance in units (metres, yards, feet) can also be displayed.

Slow motion effect saved as part of the analysis.
Slo-Mo effects can now be added to the timeline to slow down a section for especially detailed analysis.
Speeds of 50%, 25% or 10% can be chosen, then go to the point in the timeline where you want the Slo-Mo to start and click on the Slo-Mo button. Go to where you want the video to return to normal speed and click the button again.

The Slo-Mo effect is shown in the timeline and is saved as part of the analysis so will always take place when the analysis is recalled or layed off.
“Lite Mode” operation.
Emulating the operation of Tactic Lite, a simple button push enters “Lite Mode”. In this mode, when a graphic is placed a pause and the graphic’s out point is automatically inserted into the timeline making it impossible to use graphics on moving video.
“Lite Mode” cuts down the complexity of operation of Tactic and is an ideal option for coverage of sports when graphics are only ever used on paused video making Tactic more accessible to less experienced users.
