Euro 2016 kicks off today in France and RT Software would like to send our best wishes to all our customers around the world using tOG solutions for their coverage.
Special congratulations go to Iceland, the smallest nation ever to qualify for a major tournament where television viewers will be able to see RT Software’s tOG-Sports in action on Stöð 2’s daily newscast. Stöð 2 have previously been using tOG-Sports for their coverage of the Icelandic Premier League and have recently upgraded to the latest version of tOG-Sports Pro with enhancements such as feature tracking and 3D posed player models in virtual stadium mode.
Arni Finnsson, Head of Broadcast for 365 Media, the owners and operators of Stöð 2 said “Sports, both local and international, have for decades played a vital role in 365 Media’s TV services, and now with the Euro2016 being the first major tournament Iceland has qualified for and the whole country being excited, we knew that we had to be on top of our game. RT Software’s tOG-Sports solution is a vital component of our sports coverage, allowing us to engage viewers with compelling graphical analysis for all games”.
