RT Software Announces Women Players for Tactic v7.0 – Press Release.
London, UK. July 2023
RT Software has announced it has added women players into the latest version of its leading sports telestration package, Tactic. This addition for v7.0 of Tactic has been done to honour the start of FIFA Women’s World Cup which kicks off in Australia and New Zealand on July 20th.
Mike Fredriksen, RT Software Commercial Director says,”This announcement shows our continuing commitment to our broadcast customers around the world and ensures they can do justice to the Women’s World Cup in their post match analysis shows. Here at RT Software we fully support diversity in all its forms and it’s a great honour to be able to play our small part in enhancing the representation of women in sports and broadcast.”
Any existing Tactic customers are entitled to a free upgrade, and should contact RT Software to arrange it.
Mike Fredriksen adds, ”For any sports broadcasters who have not yet tried Tactic and would like to, please get in touch. We would be delighted to explain why our AI powered sports analysis will be a game changer compared to their current telestration system. By using AI we can truly accelerate the laborious parts of sequence creation and allow users to invest more of their precious time in creating a more insightful analysis. We call this Next Gen Analysis, because this is a step change from how things have been done in a very manual way in the past. Free trials are available at any time, just email direct to email@example.com or use the form on our website”
Broadcasters will find both male and female players within the virtual stadium part of the product. This allows the camera view to zoom out to a virtual perspective as seen from any of the players on the pitch, or to an overview of the entire stadium.
As you would expect, all players’ strips, colours, skin tones, hair and boots are all definable to ensure players are represented as accurately as possible.
Mike Frediksen added, “We wish all the women’s teams the best of luck. It should be a great tournament.”
