Swift News takes the creative power of Swift’s graphics engine and delivers it into your newsroom. Journalists can now take control of RT Software’s superb on air branding via their existing NRCS client PCs.
Adding stunning visuals to your news stories is simple. Once a graphic has been created by the design department and automatically distributed to the newsroom, journalists select the appropriate template and simply populate with text and imagery. Once completed and checked with a quick preview, it is inserted into the story for automated or manual playout during the news rundown.
Swift News users can choose whether to use the traditional Active X interface for journalists, or our latest web version built on our Swift Live technology. The functionality is the same, but the web version also supports full animated previews of graphics. Another benefit is the consistent user experience between the journalist’s interface, and the live gallery operator triggering those same graphics to air.
Live graphics control
Triggering graphics to air manually is simple with Swift Live. Our flexible browser based interface is designed to make operator’s lives as easy as possible. It allows a gallery operator to select the graphic they want, preview the animation, and then go to air.
Want to learn more about how Swift News integrates with your NRCS?
We offer 2 options. Our latest is an HTML5 ‘plugin’ that allows full video animation previews.
If your NRCS does not support this, we also offer our traditional Active X plugin.

Video editor (NLE) option to reuse graphics on other platforms.
Reusing your news assets for social media or a repeat broadcast later on is easy with our NLE option. Take the same graphics you used live and lay them off as files in any aspect ratio via your editing system. Then distribute on any video platform to reach the widest possible audience.
Video Wall display
Swift News can be enhanced with other members of the Swift family. As well as sending NRCS graphics live to air, the graphics can also be displayed on large video walls, by incorporating Swift Screens.
