Description

This session is aimed at broadcast operational staff and oriented towards developing essential skills, knowledge and expertise for virtual and augmented reality graphics.

Session specific objectives

Modelling in industry standard content creation applications – such as 3dsMax, Maya, Cinema 4d, Lightwave, Houdini and Blender – with the objective of exporting geometry in the FBX file format, primed for import into the Swift CG+ editor.

Chapter 1: In your modelling software

  • Real world coordinate space

Chapter 2: UVW and texture baking basics

  • Multi sub-objects
  • Correct UV mapping
  • Texture baking basics
